Two of our players, Sid Holden and Zeb Heys, will be in the Yorkshire U20s squad who ar due to play against Durhan U20s on Sunday 5 May.
The match is planned to kick off at 2.15pm at Ryton RFC, Main Rd, Barmoor, RYTON, Tyne & Wear NE40 3AG

If your child/children fall(s) into the following age groups next season and they wish to play rugby at this club: –
Under 10s (i.e. aged 9 by 1 September 2024)
Under 13s (i.e. aged 12 by 1 September 2024)
Under 16s (i.e. aged 15 by 1 September 2024)

The refurbishment of the 1st and 2nd team pitches at the Avenue is about to commence. The proposed work will include the application of selective weedkiller, the breaking up of the compacted surface, the spreading of rootzone and grass seed and the application of fertiliser.
As a result the two pitches will be out of action from tomorrow (Tuesday 30 April) and until further notice.
In the meantime we would very much appreciate it if everyone keeps off of the two pitches.
Congratulations to Max Green and Harry Lancaster, from the Wharfedale under 16s team who played yesterday 27th April away at Nottingham against Leicester tigers, with a successful outcome for the Yorkshire side. This spring Max and Harry also played Harlequins at Loughborough, Bath and London South Central at the Warwick rugby festival, as well as Sale Sharks and Newcastle Falcons at Newcastle.
