It is with deep regret that we have to report that long-standing club member Peter Rymer died this weekend.
Peter was a former Captain, Prop forward and Committee Member for many years in the fifties and sixties, and since then an avid supporter who until this last season rarely missed a match.
He was one of the Front Row brigade along with Brother David, Ken Slater and Arthur Chaney who helped to put the club on the map as the Club progressed after the war years.
Peter was also a leading light in Dales League Cricket and in particular at Cracoe Cricket Club.
Our sympathies go out to Cynthia and the family, and to his very many friends.
The photograph shows Peter with his hands on the Yorkshire Challenge Shield after the 1957 final.
