In recent years we have participated in the Natwest sponsored RFU RugbyForce Day involving a considerable number of volunteer helpers. For obvious reasons, this year things are somewhat different and the NatWest RugbyForce Day has been postponed. We will therefore be holding a mini Workforce Day of our own at the club on Saturday 1 August for about three hours starting at 09.00a.m.
All work to be carried out will be outside of the building and will involve a variety of tasks including the washing down of the advertisement boards, cleaning and repainting of the lower parts of the floodlights and goal posts, as well as the tidying up of the hard surface areas etc. There is also a need to do a fairly small repair to a drystone wall, so if any volunteer does have that expertise, please include a suitable note in your response.
Since the clubhouse will not be open we suggest that all volunteers bring some form of liquid refreshment with them.
If you are available to help, please contact Adrian Parry by e-mail at email@example.com by mid-day on Thursday 30 July at the latest since we will need to manage the numbers involved in order to comply with the Covid 19 requirements. A response will be sent to all such e-mails.
