Important Message to all Parents and Guardians of Age Grade players

Affiliation and membership of age grade players is a two-stage process. The two stages are: –

Affiliation – in accordance with RFU regulations all age grade players must be affiliated to a club before they become eligible to take part in any competitive match. Details of how parents/guardians can go about this process are already available on the club’s web-site at

NB this affiliation process needs to be completed before the application for membership is submitted. It is the age grade player that needs to be affiliated and NOT the parent/guardian.

At the moment only 73 age grade players have been affiliated out of an estimated total of over 200, so please ensure that all those outstanding are dealt with as soon as possible in order to avoid a last minute panic. We do not want any player to find that he/she is unable to participate in a match simply because he/she has not been affiliated.

If any parent/guardian encounters a problem with this process please contact me by e-mail at and I will do what I can to help. I will also be available to help in the club house on the dates shown below.

Membership – completed membership application forms, subscriptions and player photographs (i.e. head and shoulders only, for all new players and those entering the U10s, U13s and U16s age groups) are required. I will be available in the club house from 10.00hrs on the first three Sundays in September (i.e. 5th, 12th & 19th). The membership forms are available by following the link shown above. The members handbooks and membership cards will be available for collection.

It would greatly speed up the process if the photographs are e-mailed to me as soon as possible. Please ensure that the name of the player is identified. If you do submit a hard copy of the photograph on one of these Sundays, please ensure that the player’s name is clearly shown on the reverse.
