The Club was on duty yesterday helping to feed a bumper crowd at Kilnsey Show. Almost four hundred sausages and three hundred & fifty hamburgers were served up to appreciative customers over the course of a long shift. A huge thanks is owed to the dedicated team led by Ed and Brenda Williams. Once again three generations of the Nichol family, Ian, son in law Steve Huxtable & his daughter Kate, made the long trip from the other side of the Pennines to help out. Star of the show again was Kate who can show the older hands a thing or two! Our presence at the show gives the club a sizable boost to its coffers as well as promoting it to the wider world.
