Hats off to our ‘Hotdoggers’!

Superbly organised by Ed Williams, with great logistical support from Jim Mason and Fred Fox to transport barbecues and set up marquees, the Green Machine ‘Hotdoggers’ had two hugely successful days at Malham Show and Kilnsey Show. Over the two days, the team of Ed & Brenda Williams, John & Charlie Sykes, John & Libba Utley, Ian & Steve Nicholl and Robert & Alison Fort sold 1100 of Jacksons of Cracoe’s finest hotdogs and raised over £3,500 for club funds. In addition to Jim, Fred and those who gave up so much of their time to serve the hotdogs, we are indebted to a couple of members for their financial contribution towards some of the costs and to the Red Lion in Burnsall and Adam Mason for the loan of the BBQs. Particular thanks to Becky Cartman at Malham who invited us in at short notice.

Many thanks also to all those who came and supported the stall – and here’s our very own ‘Smokey (Ed Williams) and the Bandit (John Sykes) grafting away!
