Dear WRUFC members,
Please take a little time to view these short videos below about The Green Card, which I hope you will find helpful. There were a few minor glitches on 20th September, that have now been resolved, so we anticipate a smoother process this time. The Green Cards all need to be scanned by the new handhelds that will be in use for the game against Sheffield Tigers and all remaining 1st XV home fixtures.
Please arrive early, particularly if you haven’t yet got your Green Card. The club policy is to charge for entry until half time, so please make every effort to arrive at least 30 minutes before kick-off, that is 2.00pm tomorrow, to avoid disappointment.
By arriving early, you can benefit from the club’s hospitality. Every Green Card has at least £5 already gifted, that can now be redeemed in the clubhouse. Remember the 10% bonus is only applied to top up funds using the “Add Money” feature on the App or via the club registers, e.g. £20 will give you £22 on your account. To help the hospitality team and avoid delays we strongly recommend you top up your card before Saturday.
Please note: The automatic 10% discount at checkout introduced last season is no longer in operation. All last season’s Green Machine Raffle numbers are also void. Every member this season has at least one automatic entry to the Green Machine Raffle. Additional balls can be purchased at £5 per number for each draw or for just £20 you can keep the same number for the entire season, that’s £20 for over £60 in value. With around £3,000 in prizes and odds a lot better than other “Well known Raffles” is a great way to support the club and potentially win a cash bonus or some free drinks.
All memberships paid by close of play on 2nd October will be allocated a Green Card account. Not all printed Green Cards will be available for collection this weekend, however, the Green Card can be used in both its physical form or via the LoyLap App as they are linked.
