Gordon Brown Retires from Barbarians Committee

After many years service our very own Gordon Brown has retired from the Barbarians committee. During his time with the Barbarians he was Honorary Treasurer for 10 years and Honorary Secretary for 5 years. He incorporated the club and set up its charity, the Barbarians Rugby Charitable Trust, which since its establishment has donated over £250,000 to rugby-related and other causes.

Gordon is shown here at the time of his retirement with Welsh legend and three times Lions player Derek Quinnell who was the player who made the final pass to Gareth Edwards for THAT try.
