Two of our biggest contributors over the last many seasons, Ed Williams and John Utley, have provided excellent and reliable service to the club. Sadly, they are both standing down from their roles at the end of this month. We thank them gratefully.
We are consequently recruiting additional scribes to cover men’s first and second team matches both home and away. If you would like to know more about this opportunity, please e-mail me at wharfedalehands@gmail.com. You don’t need to be an Adam Hathaway or John Inverdale to contribute reports; reports are largely factual & include thoughts from coaches and senior players. In addition to being published on our web-site, they are submitted to local and national press by 10:00 AM on a Sunday morning and are then routinely published in The Rugby Paper, Craven Herald and Yorkshire Live.
I look forward to hearing from you.
John Sykes.
