Admission to matches
The admission price for adults at Wharfedale for season 2024-25 is £12. This includes car parking and access to the grandstand. However, the price for members and parent members, upon presentation of thier green card (see below), is £10.
There is no admission fee for under 16s.
Membership
For any organisation, primarily reliant on volunteers, our resources are finite, despite the huge support we get from so many. Our efforts continue to look at new ways of improving the experience for everyone that comes into contact with our great club. In these challenging economic times, many sporting clubs are facing rising costs & we are no exception. We recognise & acknowledge the fantastic contribution our supporters make. They are the club’s life blood. The club is very conscious that this should be rewarded where possible.
The club is delighted therefore to announce a new innovation with the launch of “THE GREEN CARD”. This exciting new initiative will provide members with significant benefits. It is available in 2 options, both being produced in a credit card size format, in recycled plastic.
Option 1 – Season Ticket – Cost £180 – Includes:
Entrance to every 1st team home fixture
An additional “Social Member” digital card (see below) worth £10
10% Discount on all club purchases including the bar & kitchen
10% Discount on the Gilbert Online Shop Wharfedale RUFC (gilbertrugby.com)
Automatic entry to the new Match Day Raffle for every 1st XV N2N home game
Automatic entry into the new Annual Prize Draw
Valid for 12 months from 1st September 2024 to 31st August 2025
Option 2 – Member – Cost £60 – Includes:
Reduced entrance fee £10 (instead of £12) to every 1st team home fixture
10% Discount on all club purchases including the bar & kitchen
10% Discount on the Gilbert Online Shop Wharfedale RUFC (gilbertrugby.com)
Automatic entry to the new Match Day Raffle for every 1st XV N2N home game
Automatic entry into the new Annual Prize Draw

Payment
If you have a Direct Debit mandate already set up, upon confirmation of the type of membership you require, a deduction will be made before the 1st of September 2024. If you do not instruct us otherwise, we will assume you wish to continue with the same Membership as last season. Direct Debit makes administration so much easier for the club. Details of a new online mandate will be available shortly.

“The Raffle is dead. Long live the Raffle”
Each Season Ticket & Member “THE GREEN CARD”will be personalised & allocated a number. This will be valid from 1st September to 31st August 2025. Each number will automatically be entered into a new Match Day Raffle for the whole season. That’s 13 chances to win! The draws will take place in the club house around 5.00pm in a new format. Watch out for news on “The Green Machine” Match Day Raffle with increased prize money. The first draw will take place on 7th September, after the home game against Sheffield Tigers. In addition, every number will be entered into the new Annual Prize Draw. Prizes & a draw date to be announced.
Boost your chances of winning
We are launching a new “Social Member”. This is a “digital card”, not a physical one, aimed at those that do not live close by, perhaps live abroad or wish to follow & support the Club from afar or members to increase their chances of winning in the Match Day Raffle & Annual Prize draw. The purchase of more digital cards will improve the odds for Season Ticket & Member card holders, as each “digital card” will also be allocated a unique number & be automatically entered in to both the Match Day Raffle & Annual Prize Draw.

Would you like your “Lucky Number”on your “GREEN CARD”?
We are also giving an opportunity to secure a unique number from 1-1500 for anyone that has a favourite number, perhaps a birth date or a number that has given them good fortune in the past. “THE GREEN CARD”, with your unique number will be available for collection at the gate from

Senior Players Membership
The membership fee for senior players for 2024-25 is £50.
The fee for students and WRUFC sponsored apprentices is £25.
The membership fee for those senior players who have sponsorship for 2024-25 is NIL but a completed membership application form is still required and should have “Sponsor” entered at the top along with the name of the sponsor.
