Mitsubishi Motors have launched the new Kit 4 Clubs scheme, an initiative which will allow rugby clubs across England to earn new playing kit and training equipment.

Produced by England Rugby partners Canterbury and Gilbert, the kit available for clubs includes playing jerseys, training tops, rain jackets, practice bibs, balls, contact wedges and more.

Clubs are eligible for the offer if a club member takes their old vehicle in for an appraisal at their local Mitsubishi Motors dealership and takes any new Mitsubishi for a test drive.

Each time a club member visits their assigned dealership and has their vehicle valued plus takes a test drive in a new or used Mitsubishi, their club fund will be credited with £30. When the club’s fund reaches an initial target of £300 they can begin to order branded items. To arrange your appointment, please visit or call 01756 797652

Midgley Motor Cars, Airedale Business Centre, Millennium Way, Keighley Road, Skipton, BD23 2TZ

Rugby Management

February 19th, 2018 Comments off

The club’s long-serving Chairman of Rugby, Michael Harrison, has announced that he is to step down from this role at the end of the season. Although the exact timeline of Michael’s contribution is a little difficult to pin down, he has been in charge of rugby matters at Wharfedale since 1983, whether as Head Coach, Director of Rugby or Chairman of our Rugby Committee, overseeing the club’s rise from very much junior status (as Upper Wharfedale RUFC) to the much admired National League club we are today. This is a remarkable legacy and the club will forever be grateful for Michael’s leadership on and off the field. Although stepping down as Chairman of Rugby, Michael will continue with the myriad of other roles he fulfils, not least as fixture secretary.

The club is delighted to announce that Rob Baldwin has been appointed Director of Rugby for the 2018/19 season. Further management roles for 2018/19 will be announced in due course.
