All the match sponsorship opportunities have been taken for the coming season, but we can still accommodate ball sponsors for several matches. The club can provide the ball sponsor with lunch for any number between 12 and 40, together with other benefits.

The eighth running of the Rugger Ramble and Off-Road Marathon, on 5th June, produced yet another record field, even if the high temperatures prevented fast times. From the rugby club, Alex Driver deserves applause for his 2hr 29min half-marathon, and Andy Hodgson became the first player from the First XV squad to complete the half-course. We’ll award him a time of 2hr 21min, despite forgetting to log his electronic time card at the last checkpoint.

The RFU need to have each club’s requirements for the autumn internationals very early this year, so consult the clubhouse Notice Board and tell Colin Raeburn (01729 830456) what you want, with a deadline of Friday 17th September. Alternatively, download an application form here and e-mail it to Colin at colin.raeburn@btinternet.com.

As for the Six Nations, applications have to be with Colin by 29th November. The same rules apply, and you can download an application form here.
